The Thermal Detonator Electronics Kit is designed to fit in the my Thermal Detonator STL Files.
This Electronics Kit is available as either a Part Built Kit or a Pre-Built Kit ready to install into the 3D Printed Thermal Detonator
Part Built Kit: Has the Seeeduino XIAO, DFPlayer Mini, JST sockets, resistors & vibration switch pre-soldered to the PCB’s.
You just need to solder the JST leads to the 4 LED’s, speaker, lever switch, auxiliary switch and battery, so some soldering skills would be needed.
Pre-Built Kit: Comes with everything pre soldered ready to install into your 3D Printed Thermal Detonator.
The only component you need to supply is a suitable battery.
I recommend using the following battery:
Battery Model: 18650 Li-Ion battery
Battery Size: 18mm x 65mm
These are readily available on eBay, Amazon and AliExpress.
The Thermal Detonator Electronics Kit includes the following components:
- TDTroniX PCB Boards – 1 for the Seeeduino XIAO the other for the DFPLayer Mini
- Seeeduino XIAO Micro Controller pre-programmed with the TDTroniX Thermal Detonator Code
- DFPlayer Mini MP3 Player
- Micro SD-Card with Sound Files Pre-Loaded
- 28mm Speaker
- 5mm Red LED (Top LED)
- 3 x 2mm Yellow Tower LED’s (3 Front LED’s)
- Micro Lever Switch (On.Off Switch)
- 6mm Tactile Switch (Auxiliary Switch)
- Vibration Sensor
- 7 x Micro JST 1.25mm Sockets (4 x LED’s, On/Off Switch. auxiliary Switch & Speaker)
- 7 x Micro JST 1.25mm Leads (4 x LED’s, On/Off Switch. auxiliary Switch & Speaker)
- 1 x JST PH 2.0mm Socket (For Connecting the Battery to PCB)
- 2 x JST PH 2.0mm Lead (Battery)
- 1 x Battery Charger Module
- 1 x JST PH 2.0mm Female Lead (For Battery Charger Module)
Very Important: Please make sure you double check the polarity of all connections before attaching any power.
Please Note: DIY electronics are meant for those with basic electrical knowledge and soldering skills.
DIY electronic self build or part built kits do not include lead wires.
