89Sabers Graflex Lightsaber Chassis

This is a work in progress which I have been working on over the past 6 months

It uses threaded brass rods to hold all the pieces together.

It will hold an 18650 battery, Igniter 2 Lightsaber sound board, small motor speaker, power switch, recharge port and various LEDs

The final design will be designed to printed on a resin printer as there will small intricate parts which won’t print well on the good old FDM printers.

I will also look to adapt the design to hold the Proffie Lightsaber sound board as these are now quite popular with Lightsaber builders.

If there is enough interest in this project I will look at getting back to it sooner than planned.

The pictures below are of my test print all parts printed in resin then painted with an airbrush.

It all works but still needs some refinement, but alas my resin printer has given up the ghost and until I can get a new one this project is on hold.
