This design is based on some concept art from around 1976 when at one point George Lucas first wanted Stormtroopers to have Lightsabers.

STL files to 3D print your very own Star Wars Stormtrooper Lightsaber.

If you paint it Black instead of White, you have a Shadowtrooper Lightsaber.

These STL files were designed by me to be a static prop, but is hollow so can be fitted with electronics. (I don’t make Lightsaber Electronics)

The 4 top switches are designed to use 5mm LEDs as the switches.

All the images are image captures of the STL files from my 3D design software.

• 2 x Rubber O Rings 32mm Diameter – Emitter & Main Chassis
• 1 x Rubber O Rings 35mm Diameter – Pommel
• 4 x M3 x 8mm Button Head Screw – Grip
• 4 x M4 x 12mm Button Head Screw – Covertec

LED Switches:

• 4 x 5mm LEDs (Any Colour)
• 4 x 3mm x 4mm Micro Tactile Switches
• 4 x 3D Printed Parts
• 32 AWG Wire

Sugested Printer Settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm

Top/Bottom Layers: Minimum of 3 layers top and bottom recommended

Walls: Minimum 3 walls minimum recommended

Infill: 20% infill minimum recommended (maximum 40%)
