My Journey to PropTroniX
I’ve been a Star Wars fan since the early 1980s, with a long-standing obsession for vintage figures and toys. Like many fans, it started with childhood dreams of owning a lightsaber — which naturally led to Blasters, pop-up lightsabers, master replicas lightsabers, then suits, and before long, an empire of my own.
I’ve always loved building things, from model railways and Airfix kits to more advanced projects. A few years ago, I stepped into the world of 3D printing with an Ender 3, and I now run Crealitys K1 maxs. Designing and printing props is incredibly rewarding, but it’s adding electronics that truly brings blasters and props to life.
I’ve been producing commissioned blasters for some time, and an opportunity recently arose to expand my portfolio to include a full suit of electronic-enhanced props.
Proptronix was originally created by Phillip Edwards, whose passion for props and electronics is nothing short of inspiring. .
If you’re looking for a custom prop or electronics-enhanced blaster, commissions are open. Get in touch to discuss your ideas and bring your build to life.
